Happy belated Thanksgiving and Merry early Christmas everyone! I’m so thankful for each of you, and SO excited to update you all on what’s been going on in our lives and ministries.
First, let me just say a huge thank you to all of you, particularly for your prayers, gifts, and any help given over these last few months as Lindsey and I have been adjusting to life with our sweet twins Lucy and Weston. These past few months have been the most challenging and sweetest of our lives, and we are beyond blessed by God to have all the help and support we need to raise our kids and continue to get to do ministry. So thank you all!

Ministry at CTF this semester has been really sweet and amazing. I truly feel that God has been abundantly faithful and good to us. He’s gone before us in the schools that we lead groups at, and led us to so many students that we now get to teach about Jesus. Let me tell you a little bit about it all!
CTF Camp!
Camp this summer was once again the greatest week of the year. It was a time of rejuvenation for our students, and really produced fruit in our ministry!

Morning prayer time at camp!
After we got back from camp, we had a few students who decided to make Jesus their Lord and Savior forever, and commit to following Him for the rest of their lives. It’s always so exciting getting to baptize students, but these 3 were particularly special because I’ve known them all since they were babies!

Fall Semester This semester was one of the strangest yet most exciting that I’ve gotten to witness over the last 6 years. I was out for a little over a month after the twins got here, and God continued to do what He does! We’ve continued our Monday night CTF meetings at the Wylie Biker Church, as well as leading small groups throughout the week at McMillan JH, Wylie East HS, and Wylie HS. The beginning of the school year was a little challenging due to a new state law that requires parent approval for students to be a part of any on-campus clubs. Although that continues to be a hurdle, God has worked in and through it, and we’re still leading 3 thriving on-campus Christian clubs in the Wylie schools! Our annual Songs n S’mores event!

Our 8th Grade group at McMillan JH
Our group at Wylie HS! It is such a huge blessing to be able to help train these student leaders up and help them lead these groups at their various schools. Each week I’m blown away by their depth, commitment to God, unique perspective, whether they’re in 7th grade or 12th grade. Another thing that’s particularly exciting is we’re starting to bridge the gap between our school ministry groups and our CTF ministry. One of our prayers for years now has been that God would bring us some of these students who need mentorship and discipleship from the groups that we start in the schools, and we’re starting to see that prayer answered! We had 4 students come to CTF camp over the summer who were from our group at McMillan JH, and now those students help lead our groups at Wylie and East. As we’ve gotten closer to the end of the semester, we’re starting to get more and more of these students from our school groups showing up to CTF on Monday nights! It really is so exciting. I’m really hopeful to see what God continues to do through our groups in the schools. Year End Giving! I know some of you are looking for a place to give before the end of the year. If you’re looking to give (or know someone who is), let me know! Our CTF General fund is always an option. That goes straight towards helping us run Monday Night CTF, putting on all the groups we have at the schools, as well as all the other things we need to operate our ministry. But also, I’m learning that having twins is EXPENSIVE. So if you’d like to donate to my ministry support fund, I will gladly accept it!
Prayer Requests-Please continue to pray for Lindsey and I, as we’re adjusting to life as new parents. Specifically for us as she’s started back working part time now too.-Please be praying for continued health and growth for Lucy and Weston!
-For CTF, please pray that our ministry would both be a place to grow students up in the Lord, and also welcome outside students who are new in their faith. Also for our students to build friendships and connect with each other more deeply.
-For our school groups at McMillan JH, Wylie East, and Wylie HS. That God would use these groups to reach new students, that they would encounter Jesus, and that we would come alongside them to disciple them. That He would continue to bridge the gap between our school groups and CTF!
-For the students I’m currently discipling: Austin, Liam, Corbin, Koby H, Koby B, Aidan.
“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”- Philippians 1:3-6 Thank you all for your partnership in the Gospel. I really believe that what we’re doing here is valuable work in the Kingdom, and it can’t be done without you. So THANK YOU!William Royal 972-979-6722 William@ctfwylie.org
